Sabrina Speer and Megan D’Amour are both graduates of the Interior Architecture program at UCLA.

The two met while working for the high-end residential interior design firm of Lafia Arvin.  There, they managed such large-scaled projects as new construction on a 20,000 square foot estate and interior design for a number of celebrity getaways.  Working with California’s top architects and contractors and under the tutelage of Monique Lafia, they honed their design sensibility, developed close client relationships, and created a long list of industry resources.  Since opening their own firm, D2 Interiors, Sabrina and Megan have focused on transforming their clients’ individual visions into reality. Appreciating all different styles and aesthetics, the firm’s goal is to create a space that truly reflects its clients’ individual tastes and needs. As a LEED-certified firm, D2 Interiors is an advocate of green design and strives to implement green techniques and products whenever possible.

Starting out in film and television, Megan worked on popular shows such as “Friends” and “Joey” where she developed close ties to some of the industry’s top producers and directors. Upon entering the design field, Megan worked as a “stager” for multi-million dollar residences, her innate sense of style transforming homes and allowing sellers to gain tens of thousands of dollars over their asking price. Inspired by the work she was doing and ready for more challenges, she joined the UCLA Interior Architecture program before moving on to the Lafia Arvin Design Corporation, where she immediately impacted the traditional firm with unique choices and clean lines reflective of her personal style. Her facility with computer-rendered design allows her to share her vision for a room or home with a few keystrokes.

Early in her career, Sabrina worked with top designer Monique Lafia, quickly becoming Lafia’s right hand with respect to the day-to-day operation of the Lafia Arvin Design Corporation.  Sabrina assisted with everything from construction specifications to the furnishing of multi-million dollar residences. Additionally, Sabrina interned at  the firm of Kelly Wearstler, famous hotel and commercial designer. These early exposures to such talented designers brought Sabrina into the orbit of many prominent architects, vendors, and contractors, and allowed her to compile an impressive list of contacts and resources for D2.  It also opened her to a world of high-glamour style and design that she has since blended with affordable, whimsical, and traditional designs. Sabrina’s talents in the areas of perspective drawing and marker-rendering allow her to convey her ideas to clients with ease.
